Bridge Reduced to One Lane:

Linn County Road Department reduced Ogle Road down to one lane at the Bridge over Courtney Creek. The bridge was posted at 17 tons after an inspection in May 2025.  The latest inspection indicated additional restrictions were necessary.  The recommended options were to close the bridge or reduce the posting and shift traffic to one lane.  The road carries over 400 vehicles per day, which led to the decision to reduce the road to one lane to maintain connectivity.  Traffic control and new load posting signs were installed on June 15, 2026.    The bridge is restricted to 12 tons, and traffic has been moved to the center of the bridge.  Crews will begin repairs on August 24, 2026, at which point in time the road will be closed until the work is complete.
