Civil Rights Program
Linn County has implemented and maintains a Civil Rights Program that ensures that no person shall, because of race, color, national origin, political affiliation, religion, marital status, sex, age, disability or sexual orientation be excluded from participating in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program and activity receiving federal or state financial assistance.
The County has developed programs for both the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 to comply with state and federal requirements.
