The Information Technology Department plays a vital role in supporting the county’s mission by managing, maintaining, and continually enhancing all computer-related equipment and infrastructure. We serve as a key resource for county employees, enabling them to achieve their departmental goals efficiently and securely through the effective use of technology.
We provide comprehensive technical support for over 350 users across a robust Wide Area Network (WAN) that connects core facilities such as the County Courthouse, Armory Building, and multiple remote sites. This network is essential in ensuring seamless communication and data access across departments.
Our dedicated team is composed of highly skilled professionals, including a Director, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, a Data Center Engineer, System Administrators, and an Office Manager. Each team member contributes specialized expertise to ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our systems.
In addition to providing day-to-day technical support, we are also responsible for assisting departments with the use and optimization of various operational systems, collaborating on technology initiatives, and implementing new solutions that meet evolving needs. Our goal is to empower county personnel with the tools and systems they need to serve the public effectively.
