Park Location
Located off Highway 20 near Foster and Sweet Home.
Located on the banks of the upper South Santiam River, River Bend is the newest addition to the Linn County Parks System. This 90-acre park offers a full range of outdoor recreation opportunities including trails, river access, camping, day-use, and group facilities. With a total of 85 campsites, River Bend is perfect for quiet getaways.
All loops, at River Bend County Park, are open for camping. All sites at this park are now reservable.
Winter rates, for cabins and yurts, are effective November 1 thru March 15.
River Bend has four cabins: 1, 2, 4(ADA), and 5(ADA), nestled near the South Santiam river surrounded by beautiful fir trees.
Cabin Reservation Information
- Cabin reservations must be made at least 4 days prior to arrival.
- Cabin reservations on holiday weekends require a minimum three-night reservation.
- Weekend cabin reservations require a minimum two-night reservation.
- Pets allowed inside the cabin with a paid $15.00 pet fee; maximum of two pets.
- No tents allowed on the site.
- Price: $90.00/night
- Winter Rate effective November 1 – March 15 – $65 per night
Cabin Amenities
- All cabins include a full size futon couch, electric heater, microwave oven, dorm size fridge, and table with 4 chairs.
- Bedroom sleeping arrangements include a bunk bed with two twin mattresses; includes full-size stand alone bed.
- Outside also includes a picnic table and fire pit.
- Cabins do not include running water or a restroom. There is a restroom facility near the cabins, and a restroom/shower facility by the parking lot not far from the cabins.
Note, cabin renters will need to bring the following items:
- Bedding
- Camping supplies
- Lawn chairs (if desired)
- Firewood & ice (can be purchased at the park)
River Bend County Parks newest yurt is open for reservations! This yurt has a large deck with a propane fire ring in addition to a wood burning fire pit, outdoor kitchen and a view of the river. The interior of this yurt includes sleeping accommodations for 5, along with a mini fridge and microwave.

- No pets allowed inside the yurt.
- No tents allowed on the site.
- Yurt reservations on holiday weekends require a minimum three-night reservation.
- Weekend yurt reservations require a minimum two-night reservation.
- Yurts can sleep up to 5 people.
- This stunning yurt rents for $130 per night.
Yurt Amenities
- Includes; propane heat, electrical outlets, bunk bed (twin over full), futon, table and chairs and a water spigot.
- Includes a mini fridge and microwave.
- The yurt does not include a restroom. There is a restroom facility nearby.

- Firewood & ice (can be purchased at the park)

Outdoor Gazebo
- $200 non-refundable reservation fee | 150 person capacity
- Includes: 5 picnic tables, sink with running water, countertop and electrical outlets, two pedestal charcoal bbqs (must provide your own charcoal).
Enclosed Shelter
- $150 non-refundable reservation fee | 50 person capacity
- Includes: 5 picnic tables, countertops, sliding barn doors, woodburning fireplace, water spigot, and electric plug-ins. Outside there is a fire pit and a pedestal charcoal bbq.
**Please note that a special-use permit form is required if you plan on any large structures such as; bouncy castles, stages, an event tent, portable toilets, etc in our parks. You will be required to provide insurance for these items.
***Keep in mind day-use reservations are valid only on your arrival date, from dawn to dusk, and do not extend to your departure date. For example, if you book from the 5th leaving the 6th, the reservation is valid all day on the 5th only.
River Bend County Park is open year-round.
Our cabins & yurts are open for year-round use and make a wonderful winter getaway.
We also have an enclosed shelter with a fireplace for cozy family gatherings during cold, wet weather.
