Linn County Parks is currently accepting applications for the following 2026 positions (job announcements linked below):

- Camp Host (outlying, paid)
- River Bend, Sunnyside, Waterloo, or Edgewater Camp Host (volunteer)- click here

Seasonal Park Rangers are an important part of our mission to provide great recreation services to the public, especially during the peak recreation and camping season. Seasonal Rangers support the supervising ranger and tackle tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, stocking restrooms and picnic shelters, removing trash, answering guest questions, maintaining log books, posting signage, patrolling parks, assisting with code compliance, repairing vandalized facilities, and operating hand tools and small tools such as a backpack blower or weed eater.
Linn County staff is given the wonderful opportunity to work out in the park facilities and enjoy the ample benefits allowed by the parks amazing surroundings during their time there. An outdoor adventure awaits you!
