Interior Design Internships
Linn County General Services offers Interior Design Internships to students who qualify. Interns learn how to work in an office environment, how to work as a team and learn how to independently manage projects. Interns are paid an hourly rate and are required to work 12-19 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Must be minimum of Junior or Senior Standing in related major
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
- Must be competent in Revit / AutoCAD software

Interior Design
Scope of Work:
- AutoCAD and REVIT layouts on commercial buildings
- Space planning
- Handle estimates, bids, and purchase orders
- Material specification
- Color selection
- Client communication
- Interior art projects
Current Projects:
- Establishing color and materials standards for County buildings
- Architectural trim designs on buildings
- Space planning of offices in newly acquired property
